Ireland Field Trip

Dear PGK Member,

We would like to draw your attention to our first 2017 PGK field trip to Western Ireland that will take place between 29th May and the 3rd June, 2018.

The focus of the fieldtrip are the Carboniferous siliciclastics and carbonates, a comparison between the shallow water and deep water facies as well as fault and fractures in the carbonates. Our tour guides will be Renaud Bouroullec, John Murray and John Walsh.

The cost of the trip is € 600 (shared room) and € 790 (single room). The price includes 5 nights in hotels, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as a boat trip on a Dolphin Watch Boat. Please be aware that the flights are NOT included in the price.

Tuesday the 29th of May is the arrival day in Dublin. You will be picked up at Dublin airport at 15:00. Departure is on Sunday the 3rd of June, ending with a drop off at the airport in the morning.

You will need to plan your flights independently. The following flights are suggested:
